All of our stock is sourced from Texas, which is a treasure-trove of different styles & eras. From the southwestern workwear of the West TX desert to the old-South gentility of the East TX piney woods, Texas has it all. The shop is named after a small ghost town north-east of Houston, in the old oil-fields where Howard Hughes cut his teeth. Legend has it that the oil boom at the turn of the last century created a wild town, with saloons and boarding-houses and bootleggers. Katy grew up on the doorstep of Moonshine Hill and it has long been a source of mystery and inspiration. This idea of a rough-and-tumble Texas lifestyle, half cowboy, half filthy-rich-oilman, is the inspiration for our stock.
